The Assam Minister however also posted several pictures of the Radio Therapy Block inauguration and said, “In what shall be a major boost to Assam and NE’s cancer treatment infra, Adarniya HM Sri @AmitShah today inaugurated the Radio Therapy Block of State Cancer Institute, GMCH, and also dedicated newly installed state-of-the-art Linear Accelerator machine at the center to people”.
Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma expressed his gratitude towards the Union Home Minister saying, “I am confident that this will augment our fight against cancer and bring succor to patients. Having been at the helm of this project as erstwhile Health Minister, this is a matter of personal happiness to see this come through.”
Shah’s Public Address
Amit Shah addressed the public and said BJP is strengthening its base in North East. PM Modi’s leadership has been accepted by everyone. The formation of the BJP govt in Assam for the second time means that Assam has permanently rejected terrorism, riots to move towards development. The address was live-streamed.
Visit Kamakhya Temple
Ahead of his visit to the medical college yesterday, Shah visited the historical Kamakhya Temple at the Nilachal Hills and prayed for the progress and prosperity of the country.
Amit Shah put out several tweets from his visit. He put up a tweet saying that he worshipped at Maa Kamakhya Devi Temple, Guwahati, and prayed to the mother for the progress and prosperity of the country. Sarma posted on Twitter saying, “Along with Sri Shah, we paid our obeisance to Maa and sought her divine grace to keep guiding us in our pursuit of peace, prosperity, and progress for all.”
Union Home Minister Shri Amit Shah inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of several development projects in Guwahati. Further, Amit Shah laid the foundation stone of Tamulpur Medical College. Home Minister also presented cheques of one lakh rupees each to the families of those who died of COVID-19.
