Under the CCE (combined competitive examinations), the APSC (Assam Public Service Commission) will include forty types of postings in various departments.
Meanwhile, the CCE now covers 12/13 job categories.
However, the next CCE is expected to be the APSC’s largest-ever recruitment campaign.
Moreover, the Personnel Department has already requested that different departments submit their specific vacancy positions for the forty distinct types of posts, according to sources.
Further, the Personnel Department will urge the APSC to hold the next CCE after receiving the unfilled positions from the departments.
The State Cabinet has already approved the CCE’s inclusion of forty distinct officer positions. The Personnel Department has issued a notice in this regard.

Assam Land Revenue Service, Assam Police Service, Labour Officer, Superintendent of Taxes, Superintendent of Excise, Assistant Registrar of Cooperative Societies, District Transport Officer, Inspector of Labour, Inspector of Taxes, Inspector of Excise, Assistant Employment Officer
Block Development Officer, Sub-Registrar, Assistant Manager-District Industries Centre, Finance and Accounts Officer/Treasury Officer, Publicity Officer-Legal Metrology, Exhibition Officer-Handloom and Textiles, Assistant Industries Officer/Commercial Manager, Administration Officer-Minorities Development Board, Research Assistant-Border Protection and Development, Cooperative Education Officer, Assistant Research Officer-Education.
