We are all fraternized about how baffled the current situation of the students are regarding the commencement of board examinations of the state. The Assamese Students’ Association, New Delhi, has also raised its concern with the board examinations and Delhi University admissions to the undergraduate programmes.
In an official release addressed to the state Education Minister, Dr. Ranoj Pegu, the student’s body raised their concern and stated that admissions of nearly 77 colleges affiliated with Delhi University will begin around July 15 and the decision to proceed with the admissions during this timeframe has been considered presuming results of states would be declared around mid of July.
Hereafter, the students’ association stated that if the government fails to take a final decision on conducting the board examination soon, it might affect the admission process for those aspiring to be admitted into Delhi University for further education belonging from Assam. Moreover, the Assam government has not declared whether the examinations will be conducted or not. Therefore the students’ organisation appealed the Education Minister to look into the matter and take a decision accordingly.
