The terrorist organization of Assam, ULFA (I) or the United Liberation Front of Assam, has been reported to have been hiring youths to join the militant group through social media platforms. These youths are generally hired from Upper Assam.
ULFA (I) lure youths to join
As per reports from Police Officials, many youths have joined the militant group as they were being completely brainwashed by the terrorist organization operating in the region.
The youths have allegedly joined the group under the supervision of ULFA-I leader Aiseng Axom.
As per reports, many platforms have been used by the rebel group to lure them into joining the militant group. The group has been active in many areas of Upper Assam. They highly perform extortion activities to loot well to do families.
As per reports, the youths have joined the group in source of some income.
