AGARTALA: During his two-day visit to Tripura, Union tribal welfare minister Arjun Munda reviewed various ongoing projects and schemes including the matters of forest rights act and tribal sub-plan in a meeting with state-tribal welfare minister Mevar Kumar Jamatia.
Jamatia also asked the Union minister to look after implementing the pending proposal of the Tripura government for a special package of Rs 8,892 crore and to publish the recommendations of the high-powered modalities committee for the development of the indigenous population of the state.
