Two suspected terrorists from Assam, having links with terror network operating in Bangladesh, have been arrested from Barperta on Tuesday.
11 suspected terrorists from Assam arrested
As per reports, one out of the two terrorist was arrested on Sunday night and the other was apprehended from a village in Kalgachia area on Tuesday Morning.
The DGP of Assam, Gyanendra Pratap Singh said, a total of 11 people were arrested from different parts of Assam for their alleged links with terror groups, operational in Bangladesh.
A team of NIA reached Barpeta to interrogate the allleged ABT memebers who were arrested from different parts of Assam.
At present, all the people are under police custody. Investigation is underway.
