With the launch of the COVID-19 vaccination for adolescents in Assam, St. Francis De Sales School, Guwahati has been reaching out to students and parents to create awareness and encouraging students to take the jab. Covid vaccination for students between the ages of 15 and 18 began today on 8th January 2022 at SFS from 10 AM onwards.
The school administration understands that the Omicron variant which has been categorised as a variant of concern, it is imperative that the students of our school is ensured vaccination who are aged 15 to 18 years on immediate basis.
Accordingly, a vaccination camp was setup today in school premises and a total number of 388 students were vaccinated across the day.
Saint Francis De Sales School is highly committed towards its students and would leave no stone unturned by taking every possible measures to protect the children from the deadly Covid-19.
With this, the school administration once again requests everyone to wear masks, sanitize oneself and take every precaution to protect oneself from this deadly virus.
