Reasons that call for concern over the ‘unannounced secret visit
According to reports, China’s official media kept the visit under wraps till the end of the trip on Friday.
In addition to the status of the border conflict, Nyingchi, where the President visited is also where China is constructing a massive dam on the Brahmaputra river.
Hence the visit comes amid border tensions with India and at a time when China is said to be suppressing local culture by implementing atheist ideals.
