With the sudden increase in the number of Covid-19 cases all over again, Saudi Arabia has banned the travel to sixteen countries, including India. This decision came after the country announced a rapid surge of covid cases in the past few weeks.

Saudi Arabia has banned a total of sixteen countries from travel to including – India, Lebanon, Syria, Iran, Turkey, Afghanistan, Yemen, Ethiopia, Somalia, Libya, Indonesia, Vietnam, Armenia, Belarus and Venezuela.

As per reports from NDTV, the Arab country has detected zero cases of the new virus, Monkeypox. Abdullad Asiri who is the deputy minister of Health said, “Until now, cases of transmission between humans are very limited and therefore the possibility of any outbreaks occurring from it, even in countries that detected cases are very low.”

The WHO has by now detected a total of 80 cases of Monkey pox infection from as many as 11 countries.
