On Wednesday, Bollywood Superstar Salman Khan surprised fans by clicking a picture with silver medalist Olympian Mirabai Chanu. Salman hugged Mirabai and congratulated her on her achievement, making India proud at the recently held Tokyo Olympics.

The Bollywood star Salman Khan took to Twitter to share a picture with Indian weight lifter Mirabai Chanu, who secured a silver medal at Tokyo Olympics 2020.
Salman Khan wore a black T-shirt in the photo, and around his neck, he draped ivory stole. Indian weightlifter Mirabai wore a pink shirt and smiled for the camera.

Reacting to Salman’s tweet, Mirabhai reposted and wrote, “Thank you so much @BeingSalmanKhan sir. I am a big fan of you and it was like a dream come true for me.”
Huge fan of Salman!
Mirabai had confessed that she was a fan of Salman Khan in an interview.
On Wednesday, Mirabai also met cricket star, Sachin Tendulkar. She is currently in Mumbai.
He wrote in his tweet, “Equally happy to meet you this morning, @mirabai_chanu! It was wonderful talking to you about your inspiring journey from Manipur to Tokyo. You’ve got places to go in the coming years, keep working hard”.
First Indian to win a medal in Tokyo Olympics
Mirabai achieved the silver medal in the women’s weightlifting 49 kgs category; indeed, she was the first Indian to win a medal at the Tokyo Olympics games.
Earlier, Anushka Sharma had also expressed her admiration for Mirabai, sharing a picture of earrings that she wore to the match.

Actor R Madhavan has shared a photo of Mirabai sitting on the floor and eating food and wrote that he was at a ‘complete loss of words’ on seeing the photo.
