Eligibility Criteria
Resident-ship: The candidate must be a permanent resident of the state of Assam. One of the following documents, PRC/Voter ID card/Employment Registration, must be enclosed as verification of the candidate’s residence.
Educational Qualification
Bachelor’s degree in Arts, Science, or Commerce from a recognized university with Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, Agricultural Economics, Sociology, Anthropology, Social Anthropology, Social Work, Business Administration, Business Management, Geography, or Commerce as a subject. Honours graduates will be given priority.
Age: Candidates must be at least 21 years old and no older than 38 years old as of January 1, 2021. The upper age limit can be relaxed:
(i) By 5 years for SC/ST candidates, i.e. up to 43 years.
(ii) By 3 years for OBC/MOBC candidates i.e. up to 41 years.
(iii) For Persons with Disability (PWD) by 10 years irrespective of SC/ST/OBC and General Category.
