Rannvijay Singha is someone who constantly hits our mind when we hear the word ‘Roadies’, as the show without this person is unimaginable to people who actually enjoy the show.

However, Ranvijay, who was a pivotal part of the reality TV show MTV Roadies for around 18 years, revealed that he has stepped down and it’s disheartening.
While speaking to the Hindustan Times, Rannvijay Singha said, “The channel has been a key pillar of my journey and I’ll be doing interesting work with them. On this edition of Roadies, things didn’t work out from both sides. Our dates were not matching and it is disheartening.”
Reason behind quitting:
There has been much speculation that his exit was due to the takeover by a new production house. However, Rannvijay Singha says that there were no issues with the production house.
He said, “I’ve been working with the channel for 18 years. I’ve done different shows with the network.”

In the meantime, fans were overspilled with distress. One social user wrote, ”Sir You will be missed in roadies”, another wrote, ”Roadies is Roadies coz of you sir . please dnt do this , u are my inspiration sir”.
From starting out as a contestant, to becoming a mentor, Rannvijay has been associated with the show for 18 long years. But recently, he spoke out about no longer being a part of the 18th season of Roadies.
According to sources, Sonu Sood will be the new host of the show. The upcoming season of Roadies will go on floors from February 14.
The VJ is currently hosting the Indian business reality television series, ‘Shark Tank India’. Apart from MTV Roadies, he has also been a vital part of many other TV shows namely MTV Force India The Fast and The Gorgeous, MTV Splitsvilla, Box Cricket League 1, Box Cricket League 2, and many more.
