An RPG or Rocket Propelled Grenade was launched at one of the high-security buildings in Punjab. The incident occurred on Monday in sector 77 of Punjab’s Intelligence wing headquarters. Fortunately, the grenade did not explode.

As per reports, no casualty has been reported. The grenade was thrown inside the building through a glass window.
According to a leading news agency, the attack has been reported days after four individuals has been arrested with IEDs in Karnal, Haryana and an explosive device found near Burail jail in Chandigarh.
As of now, the area has been secured the Police officials and a bomb squad were seen, looking for valuable shreds of evidence.
As per reports from DGP VK Bhawra, said “there was a minor explosion on the third floor of our Intelligence headquarters around 7:45 pm. There is no damage. We are investigating.”
The former deputy CM of Punjab said in a tweet, “the bomb blast was a sign of deep communalism.”
