On Friday night, Priyanka Chopra announced that she and her husband Nick Jonas had had a child via surrogacy. During ‘this unique time,’ the actor requested privacy to focus on her family. Priyanka and Nick are expecting their first child. In 2018, they married.

“We are happy to confirm that we have welcomed a baby via surrogate,” Priyanka said on Instagram, tagging Nick. “We humbly request privacy during this unique time so that we can devote our attention to our family. Thank you a lot.” On his social media profile, Nick Jonas also shared the same post.
Couple wished for children
Chopra, 39, expressed her and Jonas’ wish for children in an interview with “Vanity Fair” just a week before the pair made their joyous announcement.
“They’re a significant part of our future aspirations,” the “Quantico” star said. “By God’s grace, things happen when they happen.”
Chopra has been married to Jonas, 29, for three years. In India, they married in a lavish three-day ceremony.
