Price rise of city bus fare is now a serious concern among the comman man in guwahati today. Fare to be increased by 70 %.
City bus fare price rise
The city bus services in guwahati has decided to increase the price of the bus fare from Rs 10 to Rs 18.
The decision has come following the price rise in fuel which has been increasing every other day. The cost of fuel and other essential items have crossed the mark of 100 which has further led to this decision.
This is quite a worrisome situation for the common man as many people who cannot afford private vehicles travel by the public transport. Now with increase in the fare and other services, people are facing extreme conditions.
The decision to increase the fare has not been finalised as of now but is a likely decision to be made by the All Assam Motor Transport Association.
