10-year-old Anisha Patil visited Parliament on Wednesday and met Prime Minister Narendra Modi. It was like a dream come true moment.
Anisha Vikhe Patil, the daughter of Ahmednagar Member of Parliament Dr Sujay Vikhe Patil and the granddaughter of veteran Maharashtra leader Radhakrishna Vikhe Patil, was reportedly keen to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi and had asked her father to accompany her. But Patil had to explain to her that what she was requesting was a difficult undertaking, and that PM Modi was a busy man who might not be able to meet her.
Her desire to meet PM Modi
Little Anisha, seeing no other option, logged on to her father’s PC one day and sent an email to the prime minister.
“Hello Sir, I am Anisha and I want to really come and meet you.”, she wrote in the mail.
Reply from the Prime Minister
When the reply came: “Daud ke chali aao beta (please hurry),” the small one’s excitement knew no bounds.
PM Modi’s first query when the Vikhe Patil clan arrived at the Parliament was, “Where is Anisha?”
Little one was filled with questions
When Anisha met the PM, she was visibly happy and awestruck. She was bursting to the seams with inquiries, including ones regarding his opulent and large workplace.
“Is this your place of business? What is the size of your office? “Do you spend the entire day here?” Throughout her time there, she was bombarded with inquiries.
