Sikkim is known for its natural beauty and one of the most popular tourist destinations and hence the most scenic state in North-East India, but the pandemic has affected its tourist outfall.
Though the good news is people can visit the scenic state as Sikkim Government has issued new guidelines which mention that fully vaccinated people can visit the state with the production of a valid vaccination certificate and without any RTPCR report.
This comes as a big relief for those who wanted to visit the state, after being in lockdown for most of the year. As of now, many states are easing the lockdown. Though hotels, guest houses, etc will operate with 50 percent capacity.
