Chinese Tennis Player Zheng Qiwen wished she was a man as she suffered from severe period cramps which ultimately ruined her chances of competing at the finals of the French Open Win against Iga Swiatek who is currently ranked the world number 1.

Period Cramps ruins match
As reported, Zheng suffered from no pain when she started the match but soon left her cramps. She took a medical time out at 3-0 and had her back massaged in the court. She returned back to the court with her thigh strapped.
Zheng said, “yeah, the leg was also tough. That compared to the stomach was easy.. I cannot play my tennis (my) stomach was too painful”.
She added, “it’s just girls’ things you know. The first day is always so tough and then I have to do sport and I always have so much pain on the first day. And I couldn’t go against my nature. I wish I can be a man on the court, but I cannot at that moment… I really wish I can be a man so that I don’t have to suffer from this.”
