This recognition underlines their dedication to enhancing the lives of stroke survivors.

Stroke, often referred to as a “brain attack,” is a leading cause of disability worldwide. Approximately 90% of strokes are preventable when the risk factors are identified and addressed. Every year on October 29th, World Stroke Day serves as a global reminder of the importance of stroke prevention.

An Effort To Spread Awareness

Additionally, a comprehensive workshop was held to educate physiotherapists in Vadodara about stroke prevention, management, and rehabilitation.

Dr. Ankit Shah and Dr. Mohit Shah, neurophysicians at Parul Sevashram Hospital, shared their commitment to improving stroke awareness and patient care. They highlighted the hospital’s dedicated Neuro Rehabilitation Center, where a holistic approach to stroke patient care is offered. This includes services by experienced neurophysicians, neuro physiotherapy, Panchkarma, and acupuncture, all aimed at enhancing the rehabilitation process for stroke survivors.
