On the occasion of Veer Lachit Divas, National Medicos Organisation in collaboration with Seva Bharati Purbachal organized a statewide blood donation camp known as Raktadhara.
Organized in more than 25 places throughout the state, the organizers have managed to collect around 400 units of blood.

Partha Sarathi Mahanta, Deputy Inspector General of Police (AP), Assam, was also present at the event, which was held at the Gauhati Medical College Hospital’s auditorium complex (GMCH). He also donated blood.
Also, NHM MD IAS Dr. Lakshmanan S was among the other noted personalities who donated blood.
