National Cinema Day which was supposed to be scheduled on the 16th of September 2022, has now been postponed to the 23rd of September for the roaring success of Brahmastra, starring Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt.

Earlier, the Multiplex Association of India announced that on National Cinema Day, the multiplex would be offering tickets at the low price of Rs. 75.
Sharing a note on social media, the Multiplex Association of India said, “On request from various stakeholders and in order to maximize participation.” The theatre owners wanted to maximise their share since the film has been pulling in huge audiences.

A lot of Hindi cinemas have reached success at the box office – Gangubai Kathiawadi, The Kashmir Files, and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2. In the last couple of days, Brahmastra has made over Rs. 143 crores in the domestic market and Rs. 65 crore in the overseas market.
