The government of Nagaland has organized the State Handloom Expo at Urban Haat, in Dimapur from February 10 to 23.
As per reports from The Morung Express, the Directorate of Industries & Commerce, Government of Nagaland has organized the State Handloom Expo, ‘My Handloom My Pride’.
The Expo has been organized under National Handloom Development Programme at Urban Haat, Dimapur.

Reportedly, Nagaland Directorate of Industries & Commerce has invited interested applicants.
They have been invited from various co-operative societies, NGOs, apex societies, SHGs to participate in the expo.
The Expo as per information has been sponsored by Office of the Development Commissioner for Handlooms, Ministry of Textiles, Government of India.
How to participate?
As per notification, the applications can be be submitted through email or WhatsApp or in person at Directorate of Industries & Commerce/District Industries Centre, Dimapur.
The last date to submit an application is on or before February 5.

Also, the candidates have to submit the following documents: Weavers ID card/Aadhar Card, Mobile Number.
And Bank Account details: Name of the Account Holder, Bank A/C No, Branch name, IFSC code and detail Address.
The stalls will be free
The department also informed that the stalls will be provided free of cost and daily allowances will be given to all the exhibitors or stalls.
The department mentioned, “All participants must strictly adhere to SOPs issued by the Home Department, Nagaland State Disaster Management Authority.”
