The Enforcement Directorate officials landed at Sanjay Raut‘s residence at Mumbai’s Bhandup in order to search his house on Sunday.

Previously, the agency had sent two summons to Raut to join the investigation in office, for his alleged involvement in money laundering case linked to the redevelopment of Patra Chawl in Mumbai.
The politician reportedly skipped the summons twice. As per reports, the lawyers of Raut has sought time till the 7th of August, due to the ongoing Parliament session.
In a series of tweet, Raut said, “I swear by late Balasaheb Thackeray that I have nothing to do with any scam… Balasaheb Thackeray taught us to fight.. I will continue to fight for Shiv Sena. I will not leave Shiv Sena.. Even if I die, I will not surrender.”
The supporters of the Shiv Sena leader reached outside his residence to protest against the agency’s move. The officials have began their search in one plus two structure at Bhandup (east).
