Priyanka Chopra’s The Matrix Resurrections makes it to the list for Best Picture race in Oscars 2022.
Indian actress Priyanka Chopra’s American science fiction film ‘The Matrix Resurrections’ has also been added to the list of best picture races in Oscars 2022.
The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences announced the selection. A list of 276 films expected for the category of the Best Picture in Oscars 2022.
The Matrix Resurrections made 140.8 million dollar box office collection
The Matrix Resurrections was released on 22 December 2021. The film has been directed and written by Lana Wachowski.
Soon after its release fan’s loved the movie. And as a result the movie made 140.8 million dollar box office collection.
Reportedly, this will be Priyanka Chopra’s 2nd film to make a place on the Oscars list.
Previously, the crime drama film The White Tiger was her first movie to make it to the Oscars.
As per reports, the upcoming 94th Academy Awards has been scheduled to be held on 27 March 2022.
From 1 February 2022 onwards the nomination voting for the best picture race is said to start and it is informed that the nominations will be finally announced after 8 days of voting i.e. on 8 February 2022.
