Mary Kom to inaugurate Varsity Week of Dibrugarh University on December 12

Padmabhushan awardee Mary Kom will inaugurate varsity week of Dibrugarh University on December 12, 2021. 

When the varsity week started 

Varsity week of DUPGSU started on December 6, 2021. Till now they have already started the competition of many games in the university for the varsity week.

Five times in a row, Kom has won the World Boxing Championship. She is the only woman to win a medal and a trophy in each of the six world championships she has competed in. She is also the only Indian woman who has qualified for the 2012 London Olympics in boxing. She won a bronze medal in the flyweight category 51kg at the 2013 Games.
