Manipur: Beneficiaries voices against alleged irregularities in the distribution of rice under National Food Security Act, 2013

Imphal: Several complaints & discontentments from the public have been raising against the NFSA-PMGKAY for alleged mismanagement in distribution of rice.

To state one instance of such, a widow by the name pemma told that their full share of rice was declined by the agent as per the instruction from the MLA of assembly constituency.

Additionally, with regard to the issues a social activist had filed an appeal towards the various authorities to take action against the Erring MLAs who were involved in non distribution of fixed quantity of NFSA-PMGKAY rice to the beneficiaries.
