Maharashtra boy, Prajwal Chogule is a software engineer by profession who hails from Kohlapur had participated in the Apple macro photography challenge for the year 2022 and is now among the ten winners.
Maharashtra boy wins challenge
He hails from a small town in Maharashtra is among the ten winners to win the apple photography award for the year 2022.
Other participants were from different countries round the globe like China, Spain, Hungary, Italy, the USA and Thailand. The award was given by the biggest brand worldwide Apple for the category “shot on iphone” – macro phoyography challenge.
The application for participating in the competition started in the month of January till 16th of February. The winning picture of Prajwal Chogule from maharashtra will be featured in the official website of Apple and also on the Instagram handle.
The main idea behind setting up of such competition by Apple is to endorse the brands camera features and the sensor of the new launch iphone 13 and iphone 13 pro max. The challenge was to click the best pictures from either of the two phones.
Prajwal’s photograph was among the best out of the lot. The image that he captured, was of a few dew drops were on spider’s web. The shot was beautiful as it had clarity and the perfect resolution. The image was shot with his micro lense of iphone 13 pro.
As per Prajwal, “i am a nature lover and love going on early morning walks with my iphone 13 pro. The golden hour brings the best out of nature and is a photographer’s delight. Dewdrops on a spider web caught my attention and i was fascinated by the way the dry spider silk formed a necklace on which the dew gas lighted like pearls. It felt like a piece of art on nature’s canvas.”
The challenge was judged by some of the known international personalities including Anand Varma, Yik Keat Lee, Kaiann Drance, Pamela Chan, Arem Duplesis, Billy Sorrentino and Apeksha Maker.
The judges were in awe seeing Prajwal’s photography skills as he beautifully captures the picture taking note of each dew that looks like a pearl on a necklace. Many even commented the picture to be like an ‘illustration’.
Overall, the picture was liked by all as it created an illusion among the viewers . the picture was simple yet beautiful.
