On social media, an old video showcasing a humorous scene involving two lions has gone viral once more. Here’s how it went down. A humorous encounter involving two lions has appeared on the internet in an old video from 2018. The short video, which was shared on Twitter by @hopkinsBRFC21, is quickly becoming viral again, with over 9,000 views so far.

This amusing scenario comes from a German zoo. Inside their enclosure, two lions were observed walking along the edge of a water hole. One of the lions lost his footing and plunged into the water hole a few moments later.

Video goes viral

Watch the Video here:

It was visibly startled, but it managed to swim to the other side of the water hole and climb out of the man-made lake. Meanwhile, his pal was perplexed by the entire situation.

“How could you know I fell? The caption of the photo reads, “I was just going for a swim.”

As the video gained popularity, social media users expressed their ideas and opinions in the post’s comments section.

“Pride comes before a fall,” a user said. Another comment reads, “A clumsy lion.”

Another story of tigers drinking water altogether

Lions can be seen coming out of the thick forest one after the other to drink water from the stream in the 1-minute 26-second footage. Except for one lion, who decides to replenish himself at a distance from the others, all of the lions can be seen adhering to the pride and drinking water in close proximity.

Internet people reacted to Anand Mahindra’s tweet in the comments section. “It appears that these outcasts, misfits, and introverts are an evolutionary necessity for existence. “In the event that the lion pride is threatened as a whole, the maverick protects the pride’s survival by virtue of being a misfit (apart from the pride) (sic),” a comment read.

“Another comment said, “Maverick…drinking she’s water downstream so if any contamination changes the taste of the water upstream, she can escape when the pack retreats, not after she’s drunk the water (sic).” “Of course you’re a misfit. It’s like an empty bogie with all the rest being engines. Another user added, “In teamwork, we need to measure who all are engines and who are empty bogies surviving on the shadow of engine (sic).”

Anand Mahindra shares his query

Mahindra Group Chairman Anand Mahindra frequently shares inspirational and thought-provoking films on his Twitter profile, which has millions of followers. Anand Mahindra posted a video of a lion pride drinking water from a river stream on Thursday (June 17). But it was this lone lion drinking water from the stream, a short distance away from his pride, that drew his attention.

Anand Mahindra, who shared the video, initially speculates on what could have caused this lion to be separated from his pride. He believes the lion is a “maverick” or “misfit,” and this is the most likely explanation. “Look at the last shot in the video. Why was the lion the only one who could be seen from afar? The rationale for this omission may be known to those who study animal behaviour. However, I believe that whether we regard that lion as a maverick or a misfit (sic) tells us more about ourselves as human beings,” Anand Mahindra remarked in response to the film. Over 1,17,000 people have seen the video.
