The Kapil Sharma Show makers have again found themselves in trouble as an FIR has been filed against them recently in the district courtroom of Shivpuri, Madhya Pradesh.
The grievance turned into an episode of the Sony TV display in which the actors had been consuming alcohol at the stage whilst acting in a courtroom scene. The complainant alleged that the actors disrespected the courtroom’s prestige.
Statement by the lawyer against Kapil Sharma Show
The FIR has been lodged by a lawyer in Shivpuri in the CJM Court. The case will be heard on October 1. The lawyer said, “The Kapil Sharma Show aired on Sony TV is very sloppy. They also make lewd comments on women. In one of the episodes, a court was set up on the stage and the actors were seen drinking alcohol in public.
This is contempt of court. That’s why I have demanded registration of FIR against the culprits under Section 356/3 in the court. Such display of sloppiness should be stopped.”
Scene which gave rise to the issue
The case was in citation with an episode that aired on January 19, 2020, and had a repeat telecast on April 24, 2021. The lawyer claimed that in the episode one of the characters was under the impact of alcohol in a courtroom set. According to him, this has added shame to the court.

The Kapil Sharma Show is hosted by comedy king Kapil Sharma. Apart from Kapil, the light-hearted comedy show stars Sumona Chakravarti, Bharti Singh, Krushna Abhishek, Sudesh Lehri and Archana Singh.
After being off-air for nearly seven months, TKSS returned on-screen on August 21.
