It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Kalija Aita, a beloved resident of Pramod Talukdar Memorial Old Age Home. Kalija Aita was admitted to GMCH (Guwahati Medical College and Hospital) on January 19, due to her critical condition related to old age. Despite receiving medical treatment at GMCH, Guwahati, she was unable to recover and passed away.
Grandmothers often play a special role in a child’s life, providing love, support, and a unique perspective on the world. The battle pf Kalija Aita that came to rest
On January 19, Kalija Aita was admitted to GMCH (Guwahati Medical College and Hospital) due to her critical condition related to old age. When she was in ICU, the members of Pramod Talkukdar Memorial Old Age Home tried to have a conversation with her to which she barely responded.
Since then, the members and the internet started praying for her health. She kept fighting for 12 days. Despite her valiant efforts, Kalija Aita on 2nd February 2023, ultimately lost her battle, leaving a void in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. Nevertheless, her strength and determination will always be remembered and honored.
The staff and residents of Pramod Talukdar Memorial Old Age Home are deeply saddened by the loss of Kalija Aita. Her presence will be greatly missed, and her memory will be cherished.
