Man bedridden for five years wakes up miraculously after Covishield dose
After an accident five years ago, Dularchand Munda, a resident of Salgadih village in the Uttasara panchayat region of Bokaro district, was bedridden and unable to walk or speak.
“An Anganwadi worker administered Covishield vaccine to Munda on January 4 at his house. The next day, the family members were shocked when they saw Munda’s lifeless body not only started to move but he regained his speech too” Dr. Albela Kerketta, the in-charge of Peterwar Community Health Centre, was reported by PTI as saying.
He not only stood up and started walking after receiving the first dose of Covishield, the anti-COVID vaccination, but he could also speak, much to his family’s surprise, they claimed. “We saw his reports. This is a matter of investigation” Dr. Kerketta explained.
