IMD or the Indian Meteorological Department Heavy Rainfall is likely over the coming few weeks in the Northeastern states of India and West Bengal.

IMD issues rainfall warning in NE states
According to Indian Meteorological Department, ‘cyclonic circulation over the Northwest Bay of Bengal in Mid-tropospheric levels; the east-west through from the cyclonic over southeast Uttar Pradesh to Nagaland, North-South roughly through longitude 88 degree east and towards the north of latitude 20 degree north and strong southwesterly winds from the Bay of Bengal to Northeast India at lower Troposheric levels.”
Many areas of the region are likely to receive heavy rainfall in the next 5 days, from 2nd June to 6th June 2022.
