A Hungry thief gets caught as he cooks Khichdi for himself before looting the house.
Assam police arrested a person who broke into a house with a motive to loot valuable items. But then instead of looting he started cooking Khichdi for himself.
Hungry thief has been arrested
The police informed via tweet that the hungry thief or burglar has been arrested. And also added that Guwahati police are making sure that they serve him hot meals.
Police tweets, ”The curious case of a cereal burglar!”
The police regarding the case tweeted, “The curious case of a cereal burglar!”
Further added, “Despite its many health benefits, turns out, cooking Khichdi during a burglary attempt can be injurious to your well-being. The burglar has been arrested and Guwahati Police is serving him some hot meals.”
According to reports, cases of theft and robbery are increasing in Guwahati. Back to back cases of bike theft and other valuable items have been reported. Since 2020 lockdown cases has been increasing.
