Hornbill 2021: Nagaland’s much-anticipated festival is due to begin today, December 1st, a welcome relief from last year’s COVID-induced hiatus. From December 1 to 10, the festival will take place in Nagaland’s Kisama Heritage Village. It is regarded as one of the country’s most interesting and enjoyable carnivals.
Events in the Hornbill festival this year

Music, dancing, sports, gastronomy, martial arts, folk art, walkathons, mountain biking, CrossFit challenges, automobile rallies, wrestling, and local handicrafts will all be included at the Festival, which will bring together 17 distinct Nagaland tribes. All of this and other related events will be woven into a 10-day festival.
Covid-19 norms to be followed
The ten-day event will be held by the Covid-19 rules and regulations.
The participants are supposed to be fully vaccinated, and tourists visiting from outside the state must adhere to the Nagaland state’s procedures
