The Gauhati High Court on Friday accepted his bail plea and released him of all accusations.
Previously, das was accused of alleged involvement in the foul play of recruitment process held for the recruitment to several grade III and grade IV posts in various departments of the state.
Victor was taken in custody by the police for nine days. He was then interrogated for several days into the matter which, the officials said could not provide any substantial evidence to support his claims. His interim bail plea was accepted while he was still in police custody.
