The Guwahati-Bikaner Express train derailed near Moynaguri in north Bengal, under the North-East Frontier Railway on Thursday.

As per the statement announced by Indian Railways 6 deaths have been reported. The evacuation of passengers has been completed.
Additionally, the Indian Railways have also announced an ex gratia relief of Rs 5 lakhs for deceased, Rs 1 lakh for severely injured, and Rs 25,000 for those with minor injuries.
Around 12 coaches disrupted
At least 12 coaches were disrupted, according to railway officials. There has yet to be any reports of casualties. However, major injuries and fatalities are expected as a result of the train’s overturning in several compartments. Patna was the origin of the train. Officials have been called to the scene.
