FlyBig Airlines’ New Venture: FlyBig Airlines will be connecting Itanagar to Guwahati, from January 15, 2023. Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu announced this over Twitter on December 29.

Notably, the new airport was inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on November 19. He laid the foundation stones of the project in 2019.
The terminal has a peak hour capacity of serving 200 passengers. It aims to highlight the tradition, and culture, and architecture of Arunachal Pradesh.
“Delighted to meet Shri Ratan Ambhore, head of ground operations, @flybigairlines, that is going to start Itanagar-Guwahati flight service from Jan 15, 2023, by deploying 70-seater ATR 72-500 aircraft, at #DonyiPolo airport,” Pema Khandu wrote over the microblogging site.
