On the occasion of Teachers’ Day, the UGC to launch five fellowship and research grants, for single girl child and retired faculty members. The schemes will be launched on September 5, at 3 pm.
5 schemes of fellowship and research grants to be launched by the UGC –
Saitribai Jyotirao Phule Fellowship for Single Girl Child
Dr. Radhakrishnan UGC Post-Doctoral Fellowship
Fellowship for Supernnuated Faculty Members
Research Grant for In service Faculty Members
Dr. DS Kothari Research Grant for newly recruited faculty members.
The aim of launching the fellowship of supernnauted faculty members is to provide research opportunities to retired teachers.
The fellowship will have 100 seats and candidates who will be selected will be given Rs. 50,000 per month as part of the fellowship and Rs. 50,000 per annum as continguency.
