The Education Department, Government of Assam has decided to change the usual process of transfer of teachers from offline to online in order to improve the quality of Education and to maintain better Pupil Teacher Ratio (PTR) in the schools.
For this process, the Government of Assam has launched an online portal “Teacher Transfer Management System” (TTMS).
All categories of Teachers of Govt./ Provincialized Schools from Lower Primary to Senior Secondary Schools can now register themselves and submit their service details through the web portal https://hrmsassam.in for smooth implementation of the decision of transfer and other services.

How to submit online application for teacher transfer
All categories of Teachers of Govt./ Provincialized Schools from Lower Primary to Senior Secondary Schools who want to get themselves transferred in their desired location can now apply through online mode.
For this they will have to register themselves and submit their service details in the web portal within a stipulated amount of time period.
After the submission of service profile details, they will be able to submit their preference for transfer.
Following are the steps for Online Teacher Transfer Application submission:
- Go to Important Web-links section
- Click the Submit Service Profile link. Official TTMS Portal will be displayed.
- Click “Create Account”
- Enter the required details and select a password and click submit
- click on Submit Service Profile link and sign in to the TTMS portal using the Login button
- fill up your personal details as asked in the following 11 sections after logging in-
- School details (Elementary/ Secondary)
- Personal Details
- Academic Qualification
- Professional & Other Qualification
- Service Details
- Salary Accounts & Other Official Account Details

- Award Received
- Promotion Details

NOTE: For teachers who have joined before 3rd September, 2001, uploading of TET Mark sheet cum Certificate and OD. El. Ed. or B. Ed Mark sheet is not mandatory.
