Another bust was conducted by the Arunachal Pradesh police department. A total of 8 persons were arrested having a total of 300 grams of heroin and opium in their possession.
Drug bust at Arunachal Pradesh
Arunachal Pradesh Police department had arrested a total of eight persons including two women who were involved in peddling of narcotic substances.
This is another major bust in the northeastern region that has been fighting against the consumption and sale of narcotic substances for a very long time now. The region which shares international border has been subjected to a high rate of drug use.
The police department of Arunachal Pradesh had nabbed a group of eight people who had in their possession a total quantity of 300 grams of heroin and opium.
According to the reports from the police officials, ” based on reliable inputs the anti drugs squad or the ADS of Changlang Police led by Inspector C Yanchang , SI Sunny Hodong and their party along with town Magistrate Mary Talo (EAC) carried out raids against drug peddlers at several locations in Changlang Town on 5th April 2022. ”
