Diyo Rimo who is a rising star of Arunachal Pradesh bags a silver medal at the second edition of Golden Mongkhon National Muai Thai Championship. The event was held at Bengaluru.

The National Muai Thai Champion who won a silver medal at the game hails from the west kameng district of Arunachal Pradesh.

Another name for Muai Thai is Eight kimbs and is said to be traditional sport for martial arts enthusiast. The sport originated from the east asian country Thailand and hence the name ‘Muai Thai”.

The sport is believed to one of the most dealiest and yet a very attractive sport. People from all over the world participates in the sport and is one of the most growing sport of India and abroad.

The second edition that was held in Bengaluru saw the best fighters participate and Diyo Rimo from Arunachal Pradesh made his state and north east proud of his achievement.
