Dead bodies of three youth workers have been recovered from a construction site in Baihata Chariali of Kamrup Rural district.
Also, with the three dead bodies one person has been recovered from the same site in a critical condition with severe injuries. The worker was found struggling for his life after sustaining major wounds.
Locals informed police about the dead bodies
As soon as they witnessed the dead bodies and the injured man, the locals of the area informed police officials. Police on reaching the site found the 3 persons already dead and one was struggling in a severe condition.
The three deceased individuals have been identified as Ratul Ali, Muzaffar Hussain and Babul Hussain. And the surviving person was identified as Sofikul Ali.
As per information, the three deceased persons along with the one surviving were residents of Rangia city in Kamrup rural district.
They are all daily wagers working on a contractual basis at an irrigation department construction area, reportedly.
Properly investigation has been initiated
Meanwhile, a thorough investigation has been initiated over the death of three persons and the injured person has been admitted in a hospital nearby.
Further, all the three dead bodies have been sent for post mortem reports and for further medical inquiry. The reason for death is yet to be known.
