In view of the approaching Cyclone, ‘Jawad’ Indian railways cancelled 35 passenger trains which were about to depart on Sunday.

Taking to micro-blogging site Twitter, the East Coast Railway issued a statement, “In order to ensure the safety of passengers and in view of Cyclone- Jawad, it has been decided to cancel the following trains on 4th & 5th December 2021.
About the storm
The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) said the cyclone is likely to move north-northeast wards and further weaken into a depression by Sunday morning, reaching the Odisha coast near Puri around noon on the same day i.e., today.
Trains that were planned to depart from Visakhapatnam (Andhra Pradesh), Howrah (West Bengal) and Puri(Odisha) are in the list.
