Cabinet Reshuffle: Former Assam CM Sarbananda Sonowal officially announced as Union Minister

Former Chief Minister of Assam Sarbananda Sonowal takes oath as Union Cabinet Minister today at the swear in ceremony at Rashtrapati Bhawan.

Sarbananda Sonowal is a 2-time Lok Sabha MP from Assam. He has served as Assam’s popular Chief Minister from 2016-21. Sonowal has also served as Union Minister of State (Independent Charge for Skill Development and Entrepreneurship; and Sports and Youth Affair in the Modi government.
