A double-bailey bridge in Arunachal Pradesh collapses on Wednesday thus disrupting one of the essential road services in the adjacent areas.
As per reports, the incident was reported along the Mebo-Dhola road and falls under the Mebo sub division of East Siang district collapsed around 11:15 am on Wednesday.

How the Bridge collasped
The incident Was triggered when a heavy cargo truck carrying people on it suddenly collapsed. The truck passed through one of the weak areas carrying heavy load thus triggering the bridge to collapse. Luckily, the truck driver along with the three other people escaped the near death experience with minor injuries.
According to sources, A PWD official clarified that all heavy vehicles were to be taking the diversion from the riverside instead of across the brige. Neki Ratan who is an assistant engineer of the PWD said, “heavy vehicles are already using the river route.”
He also added by saying , “a bamboo one will be constructed at the location for light vehicles. We will also channelise the depth of the river using an earth-mover. The bamboo one will be ready by tomorrow.” Thus, no further information has been stated regarding the repair.
