British Prime Minister, Boris Johnson‘s two day visit to India aims to figure out the ongoing war crisis between Ukraine and Russia. The main focus here will be on keeping the Indo Pacific free coercion and giving a push to a bilateral free trade pact. The British PM’s visit will first start with Gujarat. He is suppose to visit the Gujarat Biotechnology University so as to interact with the business leaders and then he will head to the capital to interact and have a discussion with Narendra Modi tomorrow.

Boris Johnson to discuss Indo-Pacific pact

With the ongoing war between the two countries – Ukraine and Russia, many countries has sided with Ukraine.

India on the other hand had to take a neutral stand as it cannot afford to be in enemies with Russia.

The prime minister minister, Boris Johnson has no intention of lecturing a country or telling them what they should do. But amidst the situation one has to be understand the gravity of the action and also be emphatic to ukraine’s sufferings. Boris Johnson also suggested that people India must side with Ukraine to big a stop to Russian counter part.

As per the statements of reports, “there will be discussions on the long term consequences of the ukraine’s crisis . For its part, the UK supports the freedom of Ukraine “. Both the countries – UK and India has to come to a finalisation of interest on both the parties as there might be some issues which otherwise needs to be taken care of- visa for Britain and agriculture, duty on liquor and so on. The tariff barriers are said to be removed on many british made products and sectors such as agriculture, trade  and other positions to be opened up . In terms of India, the country holds up to 40 % of the british visas in the skilled worker’s category.
