After revealing that woman is addicted to consuming her husband’s ashes, Casie, a 26-year-old lady, has raised major mental health concerns. Her relatives and friends were taken aback by her strange habit.
Strange addiction in woman
Casie’s husband Sean, whom she had married in 2009, had died from an asthma attack. She admitted that she carries her husband’s ashes with her wherever she goes. Her strange practice of consuming her husband’s ashes earned her a spot on TLC’s “My Strange Addiction.”
Woman said, “I take my husband everywhere, to the grocery store, shopping, to the movies, out to eat, anywhere I go he goes.”
Casie also talked about how she became addicted to licking her husband’s ashes after he died.
She stated, “I didn’t want to wipe him off, that’s my husband I didn’t want to wipe him away so I just licked him off my fingers. And here I am today almost two months later and I can’t stop, I’m eating my husband.”
She went on to say that she does this weird habit six to seven times a day.
Family’s concern
Casie’s family members are quite concerned and have advised her to see a doctor to better understand her behavior.
It’s been a year since TLC aired an episode detailing her tale. The story, however, has recently reappeared on social media.
