Bindu’s act of self-acceptance criticized
A BJP leader named, Sunita Shukla who is the former deputy mayor of Vadodara expressed her objection.
According to the leader, such an act is against Hinduism as this will reduce the population of Hindus. She said, ‘I am against the choice of the venue. She will not be allowed to marry herself in any temple.”
Bindu said her idea of marrying herself came as an act of self-acceptance and that every woman wants to be a bride not always a wife.
