Operating under the guise of ‘All India Pregnant Job (Baby Birth Service),’ the group utilized social media platforms to lure men into a fraudulent scheme, exploiting the vulnerabilities of those seeking financial opportunities.
According to police reports, the arrested individuals, charged with running the elaborate scam, demanded a registration fee of Rs 799 from interested participants. Subsequently, additional sums ranging from Rs 5,000 to Rs 20,000 were sought as security money.
The arrests transpired following a raid by the Bihar Police‘s Special Investigation Team (SIT) on premises linked to Munna Kumar, believed to be the mastermind behind this widespread cybercrime network. Authorities seized nine smartphones and a printer during the arrests, with indications that further arrests were imminent as investigations into the case continued.
