Ayodhya; 7 out of 11 accused arrested for throwing objects at mosques

A total of seven people has been arrested by the Police Department of Ayodhya in regard to throwing posters and objects at mosques. The incident took place on Thursday in the city of Ayodhya.

As per reports, the accused has been identified as Mahesh Kumar Mishra, Nitin Kumar, Deepak Kumar Gaur, Shatrughan Prajapati and Vimal Pandey. All the accused have been identified to be residents of Ayodhya.

As per the reports from the police of Ayodhya, a total of 11 people were involved in the act out of which only seven of them has been arrested.

The Senior Superintendent of Police, Shailesh Kumar Pandey said, “A total of eight people on four motorcycles led by Mahesh, threw objectionable posters and objects outside the mosques. The police recovered the objects, a mobile phone and vehicles have been impounded. We have arrested seven people so far, four are absconding. We will arrest them soon. Action under the Gangsters Act and NSA will also be initiated against them”.

As per reports, the main accused has been identified to be Mahesh and the conspiracy was planned out at Brijesh Pandey’s house following the Jahangirpuri incident. They initially planned to attack Beniganj Tiraha but after they saw police vehicles they fled the scene and further moved on to attack the other mosques.
